F1 1995 OR Beta 1.0 Bugs

Post-any problems that you may have on the mod, we will try to remedy it quickly.

Ok i dont know if its only me, but seems like every time i try to play the mod it keeps loading the showroom without i can choose/see the cars and it automatically sends me out of Rfactor (Rfactor.exe stoppped working) :S

Oops,I forget,RFE Weather plugin need to be used for playing the mod,try to install or reinstall it

Im afraid the problem still there -___-' tried instaling the rfe weather 1.2 plugin and reinstalling the Mod, but RFactor still crashing while its loading the showroom...im really lost i have no idea about what can be wrong, is anybody else having the same issue?

Try to delete F1_1995ORBETA.bik in rFm folder.I tried in all my rFactor installation and tried all settings in rF Config and I don't have any of this problem.Are you full settings?

Wow! I dont know why but it worked   lol ive just deleted the intro .bik file and now the showroom loads propertly

The models look pretty good althought i heard that some of them come from f1 challenge and gp4, specially the williams, looks so accurated! what a beautifull machine! just tried that beast at monza and the external sounds are really cool
just cant imagine how much effort and time have you guys dedicated to this project, thanks to you now we can enjoy a 95 season for RFactor
If i find any bugs or whatever like ill post about here really good job guys, much appreciated

I tried to race in OldRing circuit with a full grid (26 cars) and with display settings at their maximum (textures, shadows...)
But when I wanted to leave the monitor, I had a error message and the game crashed :/

Also, when the settings aren't in "complete", there is a bug with the Goodyear mark on the tyres

Also, there are no talent files for Moreno and Diniz, I started another race with low settings and they did a 1-2 finish   

And Patrick, will you make other skins for the teams, for example Tobacco-Free ? Because the Tyrrells and Jordans have as a default livery the livery of the two first races only.
And do you think you can make some upgrades for the cars ? The Sauber and the Forti had a low nose at the beginning but they switched for a high nose afterwards. Williams introduced a B model in Portugal and McLaren built 3 versions of the MP4/10

Damn,if there is only a special barichello interlagos helmet and only McLaren MP4/10,there is a reason no? Of course I will try to make all skins for all cars,all drivers and all upgrades

About Goodyear tires in not full settings,I know,it's same for some other textures,so I will have to import in Photoshop something like 100 textures and save it one by one so it will take time
I will do talent of moreno and diniz,I'm not good in talent files but I will do my best

For full grid at full maximum,that would be good that you can say the message,but I think that 26 cars,in full settings with full shadows isn't good even if you have a good pc,I will see what I can do about that

Patrick, here's my little contribution ...
I'm only focussed on the graphical side of the 95 mod by now.

Just little thigs that I think will help you enhance visual side of the mod.
_ Benneton used a combination of white & blue rims. Most part are in white with a little blue external rim (in the bbs part).
  Herbert car don't have the red part on the tip of the nose.
_ Ferrari used Gold rims.
_ Williams Used black rims with a little external yellow rim (just like the benneton's). Coulthard's car don't have the red triangles on the front wing pillars or supports, Hill's cars' do have it.
  In game, the Coulthard car said Hill's name on the extrenal part from the cockpit. When you crash and loose the nose cone and front wing,
  the inner part of the car is transparent, like a window (it just let see through the car).
_ McLaren used all black rims.
_ I'll check latter, but I almost remember that only Benetton (white/blue), Ferrari (gold), Ligier (gold) and Forti (green) use other rim colour than black.
Most part of the other teams used black rims or black with other colour, but the main colour is black.

On the visual side it's a very nice mod.
I have no time to drive the cars yet, but when I have time and can drive and test the mod, i'll post some feedback here.

EDIT: I have the same issues that the other guys said when loading the game. Then, delete the .bik file on the rfm folder and it loads ok.

Yes I know Tincho,but,rims has been converted from GP4 and there is correct color in game but for gp4 modding,you just need to add a color code and it will color the rims,so I need to color all rims and maybe I will need help at this point.

And what about asking SR Team if you can use their rims from the F1 1994 SR Mod for the 1995 cars? Excepting the williams, the rest of the cars had the same rims in the 94 & 95, its just a matter of asking for persmissions and that would save you plenty of work as the cars would have realistic rims    (in fact i have already done this for personal use lol)

yesterday evening I had a first try of this mod and it was a superb experience. The behaviour of the cars is very predictable, driveability if good, no snap-oversteering and the reduction of downforce (in comparison with 1994) was solved in a proper way, it is fun to drive the cars.
I have one remark concerning the lap times and high-speed of the cars: I gave the Williams a try in Brazil and reached a pole-time of 1:16.238, this is nearly 4s faster than the original pole time in 1995 (~1:20.084 Damon Hill Williams FW17). It seems that the high-speed of the cars is a little bit too low (in Brazil the cars reached ~300km/h) on the other side the downforce in the curves is a little bit too high.

I want to congratulate to the graphical result of the cars, especially the Williams and McLaren are outstanding.

Concerning - the already mentioned topic of the rims - the rims I hope this input could be useful
Benetton: BBS magnesium rims (white with blue markings) - very similar to F1-S-R 1994 rims
Tyrrell: Fondmetal (Black with yellow branding) - = F1-S-R 1994 rims
Williams: O.Z. (black with yellow marking) - = F1-S-R 1994 rims
McLaren: Speedline and Enkei (Black white branding) - = F1-S-R 1994 rims
Arrows: Enkei (black with red markings) - very similar to F1-S-R 1994 rims
Simtek: Dymag (Black with white branding) = F1-S-R 1994 rims
Jordan: O.Z. (same as Williams) = F1-S-R 1994 rims
Pacific: Dynag (almost black) = similar to F1-S-R 1994 rims of Simtec
Forti: Tecno Magnesio (neon-green) - suggestion BBS wheels (neon green)
Minardi: Fondmetal (same as Tyrrell) = F1-S-R 1994 rims Tyrell
Ligier: BBS (golden colour) = F1-S-R 1994 rims Ferrari
Ferrari: BBS (golden colour)= F1-S-R 1994 rims Ferrari
Sauber: Speedline (same as McLaren at the beginning of the season) = F1-S-R 1994 McLaren rims

Bugs:
additional shadows of especially Benetton and Ligier appear on the track.
I had no crash of the car so far, but I use usually max. 20 cars on track, the only crash that happened was on 1988 Spa and Imola (by TTTT) when I "MONITORED" other cars on the track.

Thank You again for this phantastic conversion, the only improvement to have an absolutely perfect visual mod would be the rims.

Good evening. Downloaded mod today and was loving it. Very fun to drive. Only problem I have is there is no helmets. They all just appear the same black colour. And the mirrors are reversed. Loving your work thank you very much
